We got your best pizza places in town!
Pizza is one no-brainer food you can have either for dinner or lunch. Topping varies from meat to vegetables and the list is endless. If you live in Quezon City, we listed down the best pizza places you can try to satisfy your pizza cravings.
The History of Pizza
As early as AD 997 in Gaeta, the first pizza was documented. They say that it was made for the Queen of Italy. Looking back at its bread evolution it probably started with focaccia bread where they added toppings. Fast forward a little, modern pizza was found in Naples where tomato sauce is smeared on top before adding toppings.
For almost two centuries, pizza has been there for us, making our lonely movie nights better than ever.
Fast Pizzas
A lot of open air stands and casual dining popped out of nowhere. If you drive around the city, you’ll see them almost every other block.
Greenwich Pizza

I will be biased with Greenwich, I love their thin crust Hawaiian Pizza. It is full of cheese, the sauce is sweet, and the pineapple gives a refreshing bite to it.
For their Crispy Thins, they have the Veggie & Cheese – combination of mushroom, green bell pepper, black olives, and honey glazed pineapple; Signature – combination of premium meats, three types of cheese and veggies; Hawaiian – all about glazed pineapples, ham and cheese; All Meat – combination of Italian Sausage, beef bacon, salami, and cheese;7 Cheese – Mozzarella, Edam, cheddar, parmesan, cream cheese and blue cheese, melted together; Crispy Thin Pepperoni – sumptuous pepperoni and cheese; and the newest Bacon Crispy Thins – topped with bacon, mushroom, ham, mozzarella, and cream cheese.
For the Overloaded Pizza, they have the same variant as the Crispy Thins plus the 4-in-1 overload all in a thick crust.
Lastly, they have the Classic Pizzas, starting with Ham & Cheese, Hawaiian Classic, and Pepperoni Classic.
Prices range from 90 pesos up to 300 pesos, both dine in and delivery.
Pizza Hut
Who does not know Pizza Hut? If you are the classic pizza eater you will enjoy their thick crust, topping overload pizzas. Whether you prefer a cheesy overload, bacon fiesta, or veggie all the way, they have it.
Add the Italian delight, super supreme, bacon cheeseburger, bacon Margherita, and meat lovers. Gone are the days when your pizza toppings are plain cheese because you put whatever you want.
They also invented the stuffed crust pizza to save the crust. Genius, right? They stuffed pizza with gooey mozzarella and sausage for a happy ending.
Don’t forget the Palm Card where you can get two pizza when you buy one.
These are available dine in, delivery, and takeout.
Shakey’s Pizza
Being available in over 500 stores globally, Shakey’s is also a crowd favorite when it comes to pizza (and chicken and mojos). Shakey’s is known for their famous white & red checkered plus their spacious establishments with an arcade.
Although not all branches are spacious, Shakey’s standalone branches are rented for events too. They are one pizza parlor that offers several variations of pizza topping both available in thin and thick crusts.
They have the classic flavors like Hawaiian, Pepperoni, Garlic & Cheese, Classic Cheese. Don’t forget the Manager’s Choice, Vegetarian, and Shakey’s Supreme.
They keep on innovating new pizza from Hi-Protein Supreme, Pizza Bianca, Friday Special, Angus Steakhouse, Firehouse Pizza, Belly Buster, Texas Chicken BBQ, Cheesy Chicken, and lastly the Cali Kani Pizza.
My personal favorite is the Texas Chicken BBQ – the crust is thin, the chicken is tender, the sauce is smoky, and the onions were refreshing.
They also a membership card called super card, where you can discount and other promotions both for dine in, take out, and delivery.
Yellow Cab Pizza
And there’s Yellow Cab, the New York style pizza in town. So far, they’ve got the biggest casual dining pizza we know.
From there Legendary pizzas which include the New York’s Finest and Four Seasons. Then there are their Signature Pizzas which includes Manhattan Meat Lovers, Garden Special. And BBQ Chicken. Plus, their Classic pizzas which include #4 Cheese, New York Classic, Hawaiian, and Gilroy Garlic.
Yellow Cab is also known for their Dear Darla: Specialty Rolled Pizza, where pizzas were cut into strips and serve with micro greens. They have NYU Margherita, Roasted Garlic & Ricotta, Chicken Corona, Prosciutto Ham, and OG Darla.
Most the time we order four seasons, the biggest size, have it cut in squares, for group gatherings. And for my personal choice, I’ll go with Dear Darla with lots of chili oil.
Don’t forget to order some Charlie Chan pasta plus potato wedges to complete the meal.
S&R New York Style Pizza
Gone are the days when you need to be a member to eat their pizza. Although the selection of flavors is small, the slice is big enough to feed two people. They have the classic cheese, pepperoni, Garlic Shrimp, and the combo.
S&R New York Style Pizza is now available on different pop-up restaurants not just in QC but in the entire metro.
Pizza Delivery Masters
Some pizzas are better eaten at home, this why some pizza parlors do more on deliveries. They have smaller dine-in space and they have volumes of order every single day.
Papa John’s
Known for their bestselling calzones, Papa John’s pizza selections are unique and seriously delicious. Of course, you cannot remove the classics which is the Simply Cheese, Garden Special, Pepperoni, and the Hawaiian.
Their specialty pizzas include Super Papa – the ultimate combination of pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and black olive; Texas Heat – Ground Beef, crispy bacon bits, onions, green peppers, and jalapeno bits; Cheesy Bacon Melt – gooey potato mousse, cheese, and crispy bacon bits; Chicken BBQ – tender grilled chicken, bacon bits, onion, and the sweet & tangy BBQ sauce; Chicken Bacon Ranch – grilled chicken, crunchy bacon, fresh garlic, fresh tomatoes, onions, and ranch sauce; lastly, All the Meats – a mouthwatering combination of pepperoni, Italian sausage, beef bits, ham and bacon.
Have you noticed anything? The specialty pizzas have bacon on most of them. Another remarkable item from Papa John’s is their hot sauce. I do not know but their hot sauce is hotter than any other hot sauce from the previously mentioned establishments.
