Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen
Nothing is more romantic that savoring on Italian dishes at Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen. They now have 3 more branches, in Nuvail, UP Town Center, Ayala Malls The 30th, and Evia Lifestyle Center as it proves to be the next foodie destination.
The restaurant started in 2000 and is owned by French-Canadian, Richard Tremblay and his wife, Malou as the cook. Their eldest daughter, Crystal acts as the restaurant manager. At first, the family used to serve French-Italian dishes for about a decade along Aguirre Street in BF, Paranaque. On 2010, Malou decided to relocate at the opposite street, and opened more branches.
Mama Lou is famous for its signature pasta dishes, fresh, and handmade every day. Some dishes you try is first, the Escargot. This unique appetizer uses an imported snail as the main ingredient, and is baked in garlic and butter. For the pasta, order the Spaghetti Seafood Olio which is an olive oil spaghetti with assorted seafood and garlic. The aromatic pasta makes it as one of the restaurant’s bestsellers.
Lasltly, you should also try their risottos: Risotto Tartufo Funghi (mushroom), Risotto Pesto Al Pollo (Chicken Pesto) and Risotto Di Mare (Seafood).

If you are looking for a restaurant that is worth the bucks, and those which have a interior, then head over at Mary Grace Cafe in Gateway Mall, Cubao branch.
Valentine’s Day or not, anyone can feast on Mary Grace’s exceptional offering. We recommend you try their Mushroom Pate with Batard Bread or Dulong Plate with Melba Chips for starters. This posh café is one of the most romantic restaurants in the Metro Manila, just from the façade itself. This restaurant is under the Chateau 1771 Group of Companies. The restaurant serves premium quality steaks with meats USDA certified. They also import fishes from Australia and Wagyu from Snake River Farms. They also take pride on one of their signature dishes – the 850-gram tomahawk, a 28-day dry aged USDA Prime Angus Ribeye. They were even touted as Manila Best Private Dining Paella Restaurant. The whole place is massively Instagram-worthy but is strictly for reservations-only.

Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant
Dine with beau at one of the most romantic restaurants in Manila – at Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant.
This one is clearly a place for date night and intimate occasion. The place is divided into three: Lavender Room, Main Dining Area, Papillon, and The Garden. They serve western to local dishes which exceeds diner’s expectation.
Their appetizers are categorized into hot and cold, and they also have an interesting selection for their pasta. This include the Tagliatelle which is a fresh handmade pasta with truffles, Grana Padano cheese and heavy cream. You should also try their rich-flavored Shrimp Tortellini, and is basically a homemade tortellini made in crab fat sauce topped with sautéed wild mushrooms.
Their must-try main include Soft-shell crab, Barramundi, Halibut, and Grilled Prawns for the seafood category. Meanwhile, you could also go for the Roasted Duck Breast with Potato Lyonnause or the Duck Leg Confit with Cassoulet. They even have an Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb, pan roasted an crusted with herbs.
