Roadhouse Manila Bay: A House Made of Rock
It’s the weekend and you need to party. It’s hump day and you need to unwind. It’s any random day of the week and you want to have a good time. Whether you’re on any one of these crazy moments, there’s an Events Venue in Pasay that’s sure to make you scream for more. The Roadhouse Manila Bay is more than just an allusion to that Swayze flick. It’s got more oomph than most other venues in this part of town.

5 Reasons Roadhouse Manila Bay is a Rockin’ Place
-
Bikers. Yep.
I know what you’re thinking. A group of big, bearded burly silverbacks with leather vests and bandanas. That’s quite the biker archetype, but not every one of them is like that. But regardless of image, there’s no denying one thing. The music playing in your head while you’re thinking of them right now is Steppenwolf’s “Born to be Wild”. Most probably, you’re even singing it out loud as you read. It’s either that or George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone”. Whether it’s one or the other, it’s rockin you b-b-b-b-b-bad.

One Word: Blues.
As the bikers enter the bar, you think: “Barfight”. Nonsense. Hollywood has drowned you in the image you just painted for yourself. You got the Blues and you know it. Not many event places in Pasay (or Metro Manila at that) boasts of its association with the Blues much like The Roadhouse can. Even the International Blues Music Day was celebrated there. Blues musicians gather onstage and jam to their heart’s delight.

It’s Multicultural, Baby!
Aside from Filipino bands (Blues and otherwise) performing regularly, you’ve got foreigners onstage as well. Or sometimes, you’ve got foreign events (like St. Paddy’s) celebrated by Filipinos. And of course, Filipinos celebrate being Filipinos— with foreigners joining the fun!

Some of Pinoy Rock’s heaviest say so.
There’s no better proof for any claim than experts’ seal of approval. Who better to claim a rockin’ venue than the rockers themselves? You’ve got big names in Pinoy Rock taking the stage over at Roadhouse. There’s Wolfgang. Razorback. The Wuds. Blue Jean Junkies. I could go on but this is no litany. I’m sure I had you at these names.

Explosive view of the Pyro.
By the sea, by the beautiful sea. The Roadhouse Manila Bay has got an awesome view of the bay. And what happens by the bay? Pyro, that’s what. Boom boom boom. Perfect accompaniment to partyin’ and rockin. The recent Pyrolympics competition saw a flood of pyrophiles in awe while chowin’ down on the grub over at The Roadhouse. And guzzlin’ the booze. Yes, the booze.

Set yourself down anytime and see for yourself. It doesn’t claim to be the prettiest join in town, but it sure rocks hard.
