I’ve been eagerly waiting everyday since Ariana Grande announced that her concert would be hitting the Philippines. I couldn’t focus on anything else! Miss Arianna, I just have to say that I’m so into you and that it would have been a problem if I didn’t get to see your performance live. And I’m glad I did because it was such a bang bang!
With all of the Arianators filling the MOA Arena from side to side, you could easily feel the way that everyone’s excitement wanted to break free. It was almost a greedy enjoyment that filled me up! Seeing the Dangerous Woman here in Manila was so amazing that it wont be the one last time she would perform here.
Here are the highlights of Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman tour here in Manila.
The Anticipation for Her Arrival
There is no exaggeration when I say that everyone was excited to see Arianna Grande again here in Manila. At 6:30 PM the lines at the MOA Arena were already very long, and the concert wouldn’t be starting for another one and a half hours. You could even see the desperation of some fans to score some last minute tickets just to see their idol perform live for one night.
Ariana Dancing the Night Away
Ariana’s discography of songs is something you have to dance to. You can’t help it, it’s like it was created that way.
And of course, leading the dance party was none other than Ariana Grande. Watching her sing and dance at the same time and never miss a beat is definitely a spectacle that you have to see live. She has a natural rhythm, it’s intoxicating to see!
Most of her choreo isn’t easy to pull off either. I love the hand movements she performed during “Be Alright”. I think it’s called voguing? Maybe not, but it was still cool. I’m still trying to emulate it, but I cant! Also cycling while singing during her performance of “Side to Side”, I mean who does that!? Major props to our girl!
A Vocal Powerhouse
Honestly, you wouldn’t even know that Ariana was sick. That’s right Ari had a cold while performing, but we only found out after she told us. That’s how good her performance was, no hint of a cold what so ever. She gave it her best and we cheering her on for it.
By the way, dancing while singing is hard. I swear, try it out for yourself. You’d think it was easy watching Ariana Grande perform, but it’s not. So again, thank you for the awesome performance miss Grande!
A Good Mix of Old and New
The setlist for the Dangerous Woman Tour was so perfect. It would satisfy Arianator and normal concert goer a like.
It gives you all her catchy new tracks and puts in her classic songs as well. My favorite performances by far were “Be Alright”, “Everyday”, “Break Free”, “Bang Bang”, “Problem”, “Focus”, “Somewhere over the Rainbow” and “Side to Side”. That’s almost the whole concert! Ariana really delivered with this set list.
The only missing song from her performance was “Santa Tell Me”. I swear, that’s my favorite christmas song. Ugh, why wasn’t this a December concert? Well, as much as I would have loved to here Ariana sing that song, I still loved her performance overall.
