Injustice 2 Game Review
Injustice 2 is the welcomed sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us on last gen consoles. It pits the memorable roster of DC heroes and villains against each other for us to enjoy. With the title being guided by the masterful hand of NetherRealm Studios, we get a fighting game that has finely tuned mechanics with the trappings of our favorite DC heroes.
If you’re still on the fence about this fighter, don’t worry I am here to tell you my impressions of the game. Hopefully, I can help you make a decision on whether or not you wish to buy it. Spoiler alert… I loved it! But, here is a detailed review on why you need to buy Injustice 2.
The Story

Superman in the Red Sun Cell
Injustice 2 follows the events that happen after Superman’s defeat at the hands of Batman. Why exactly did the two super friends fight? Well, Joker tricked Superman into killing Lois Lane and destroying Metropolis. Because of his grief, Superman killed the Joker in retaliation. No longer seeing straight, Superman forms the Regime in order to police the human world. Of course, Batman is against this and their battle causes a splinter among the super powered beings in the universe. Long-story short a civil war happened with the two sides Being led by Batman and Superman and at the end of the first game, Superman loses the battle.
With Superman behind bars, Batman is now tasked to rebuild the broken world and to make its citizens feel safe again. Unbeknownst to Batman a greater threat was looming overhead. Braniac wishes to destroy the planet and reclaim the Kryptonian who eluded his grasp. Now it is up to Batman to decide whether he can handle this threat alone, or would he need to free his old friend in order to save the planet.

Will the ominous threat reunite the two warring sides?
Ok, that’s the best way I can describe the story of Injustice 2 without spoilers. Basically, Injustice 2 is the story that we all needed to see about the DC heroes after all the lack-luster movies that have graced the big screen. It reminds gamers how powerful and endearing these characters are and if you ask me, this story is what we expect in a real “Batman VS Superman” scenario.
The Batman VS Superman story we need and deserve.
