Fox Philippines’ new TV series was met with ecstatic, curious minds. The eleven-minute preview of Marvel’s new superhero thrusts the audience into the disturbed state of the protagonist. Time stood still as the persona exposes itself raw and unforgiving of himself. Be warned. Be very warned. Take a precautionary pill, and proceed with caution.
Legion centers on the uncanny life of David Haller, played by Dan Stevens. Diagnosed with schizophrenia, David finds himself being institutionalized in Clockworks Psychiatric Hospital. Here, he discovers two things: 1) his condition triggers unexplained, uncontrollable power within him, and 2) his delusioned state is rattled with fellow patient Sydney Barret, played by Rachel Keller.
What destiny awaits our two star-crossed lovers? How will their condition outline and shape the growing Marvel universe? As event host Suzie Gamboa puts it, the show is “twisted, in the best kind of way.” The show airs same day as the US on February 9 at 8 p.m. local time. Fox Network Group Philippines Channel Head and Director for Local Production Katrina Holigores said, “Fox prides itself [for premium content quality first airing] in your TV screens.” Holigores invites viewers to watch all new season premieres on Fox this February: the spin-off from 24 gets reboot with 24: Legacy beginning February 6 at 8 p.m., The Walking Dead Season 7 on February 13, 11:35 a.m. and 8:55 p.m., WWE Raw on February 14 at 9:50 p.m., and Billions Season 2 on February 20 at 9:50 p.m.
