Psycho-scarers are often full of shocking scenes and ripe with plot twists. In the case of Psycho, Norman Bates was the killer, after all, only donning a wig to pretend to be his mother. 2003’s Identity had viewers looking out for a serial killer only to find that the scenes of the story were actually part of the healing process of a psychological patient with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), also known as Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD).

In Shyamalan’s Split, follow the serious psychological case of Kevin Wendell Crumb, as his DID presents 23 different personalities that are in conflict and prepare for the emergence of a 24th. See how James McAvoy portrays all Kevin’s personalities in a display of fantastic acting.
