Are you excited to attend The Best of Anime 2019? Well, you’re not the only one who’s excited because everybody is! So, how can you make you that you will enjoy the convention 100%? Here’s our list of what and not to do at BOA 2019:
Make sure you familiar yourself with the event schedule
I’m sure you would not want to miss your idol’s performances and meet and greet schedules! To avoid your fear of missing out, print their schedule that’s readily available at www.thebestofanime.com. Double check the time on the event day with the event marshals because there may be changes on it depending on some circumstances.
Brush up yourself with the latest songs or latest activities of your favorite idol
You can be the best fangirl or fanboy on this two-day event! You can even flex that on social media to make sure your idol notice you. Use your detective skills to know what are their latest engagements on the community, what are their favorite hobbies, when are they flying to country and what are the “surprises” they’ve prepared for their fans in the Philippines.
If you are planning to go to their meet and greet sessions, prepare a nice question and trivia to get their attention. For sure they will remember you!
Create a checklist of what you really want to buy on the event
If this is your first time at The Best of Anime, you’ll be amazed that there are a lot of sellers attending the event. Make sure to create a list of your wish lists because you might end up buying from all of the exhibitors. They have everything a cosplayer would wish – from accessories, costumes to collectible items. They also have the artist alley where Filipino artists showcase their creations – digital printing, clay arts, post cards, and many more.
Lastly, bring a generous budget
One of the worst feelings while attending an event is not being able to buy anything you want. Make sure to bring a budget to buy what you really want to buy but not too much to avoid overspending. And if you are bringing money, bring also a small bag that you can guard the whole day to avoid pick-pockets and the kind.
