Give your most loyal friend a treat. A small reward for the big things they give us like unconditional love, loyalty and happiness.
Now a days, there are several pet cafes in the metro where we can share a good moment with the furry member of the family, our pets. And one of the pioneers in the industry is Whole Pet Kitchen, a boutique cafe that has menu not only for pets but also for their humans. The owner, Ms. Gianina Gonzales, being a fur parent herself is also concerned in giving the fur babies the healthiest meal as possible. That is why the food that they serve in the café is made from all natural human grade ingredients. She even consults a vet before putting her dish in the café.
Jack (the golden retriever) just can’t take his eyes off the lasagna. Evidently, just the aroma of the lasagna made him focus on the prize.
Gone are the days when pets are not allowed inside a restaurant. What started from a hobby turned out to be a boutique pet café that serves gourmet food not only to its’ human clients but also to their loyal fur babies. Generally, most of the guests of Whole Pet Kitchen are dogs, but over the years they also had other fur guests like cats, birds and a pig! Just thinking about different dogs being in the same place may sound chaotic, but you’ll be surprised to know that the restaurant never experienced a major brawl from its’ fur guests. And who knows, while dining with your pet you might just get starstruck with a visit from celebrities who are also loyal customers of the café.
PET MENU
As fur parents, the health of our fur babies is one of our top concerns. We always ensure that they get a healthy meal that fits their requirements based on size and breed to keep their bodies in best condition, because there is nothing that delights us than too see them happy and healthy as they greet us when we get home from work.
Whether you want it dine-in or take-out here are some of the treats you can find in the café:
Muffins and biscuits
Celebrate your pet’s special day with a customized cake that is yummy for their tummy.
And of course, if humans have lasagna, pet’s can also have their version of Jack’s lasagna which is basically lasagna less the harmful ingredients for our pets like tomatoes and onions.
HUMAN FOOD
No wonder that furr babies keeps on asking for more at Whole Pet Kitchen because when they served the lasagna, the aroma made my stomach hungry and crave for food. It’s like my tummy says, “c’mon get that food inside”. In addition to the pasta, their sandwiches or sammies was also a good eat. The bread was perfectly toasted and you feel the crunch on every bite and the softness of the stuffings inside. To finish the whole yummy experience, we had double choclit ala mooode, a combination of soft waffle with chocolate and vanilla ice cream the was truly satisfying and comforting.
Here are some of the food we tried:
The whole Whole Pet Kitchen was a nice and comforting experience and a good way to relax, recharge and bond with pets after a full week of work. You’ll definitely beg for more. The owner and the staffs was friendly and if you did not bring your pet, the owner also allows you to pet Jack, the owner’s golden retriever who is also the café official model and dog ambassador.
