The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the successor to the Note 7 (obviously). The Note 7 will be remembered for being good on paper, but failing when push came to shove. The phone had issues and would sometimes catch fire. I mean, I still here the announcement that Note 7s can’t be brought on planes.
Enter the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 announcement. Samsung seems eager to redeem themselves after last year’s fiasco. They stuck to their guns and we’ve got to admire that. They plan to officially announce the phone on August 23, which means a release sometime in September. Hopefully, they ironed out the kinks phoned in the Note line.

Thanks to the Galaxy S8 and S8 plus, we basically have an idea of what features to expect on the Galaxy Note 8. Of course the infinity display has to make an appearance and It wouldn’t be a “Note” phone without the S Pen in tow. The Note 8 is also said to have a dual camera setup that is better than the iPhone 7 Plus.
Samsung really can’t pull any punches because Apple’s iPhone 8 is set to launch this year as well. They have a lot to do if they want to win the title of best smartphone of 2017.
So, Eventurers what do you think? Is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 a “Yay” or a “Nay” for you? Maybe you’re on iOS and wondering what’s the big deal about Android. Either way, it’s going to be exciting to see how the Note 8 will stack up once it’s announced on August 23. Can’t wait to discuss it with all of you!
