Legazpi Albay, Our Post-Summer Family Trip
Our family trip in Legazpi, Albay is a celebration of all sorts. First, my brother’s college graduation commenced more than a week ago. Second, and more importantly, this marks our official, first family trip following the heartbreaking demise of my father last year.
My father has always been the driver ever since and this is the first time that he’s not with us. |

Even if half of the year is gone already, we really find this post-summer trip as a way to replenish old memories with new ones. I’ve been to Legazpi a number of times before but this is the first time I am experiencing the city that I can attach a vivid memory of the things that happened.
Together with our family driver and our Tita, we fight over trivial matters, we laugh over mundane things, and we eat in silence just enjoying Bicol’s finest delicacy. I’m ranking our Legazpi, Albay trip with both the good, the bad – no holds barred.
