Bring Me Back to London!
We always dream about travelling the world. Ask anybody on the street and one of their dreams or goals is to be able to travel. Why is the idea of travelling so attractive and appealing to us? Travelling is one of the great adventures of life. This is where you choose to go out of your comfort zone and go to places you have never been, to see things you have never seen, and to meet people you have never met. Travelling expands your world.
Traveling Expands Your World
There are countless quotes and slogans that say we must travel. And I agree to them all! Being able to travel is like learning and having fun at the same time! You learn about other people and other places, you are able to see how things work and how others interact in a different perspective. You learn the nuances of hearing another language, and communicating with foreigners in a tongue that is not your own. Try looking for the bathroom without knowing how to speak the local language, you are in a big trouble! There is so much to discover about others, and also about yourself when we travel.
But do not forget, travelling is also fun! The feel of the road, the excitement in a plane, the adventures of a new place. And plus there are a hundred thousand new photos for you to take! Travelling gives you a chance to escape from the confines of your daily life. You do not have to wear that long sleeved shirt or that corporate dress! Time to go out in rubber shoes and jeans and be a tourist! There are tons of new experiences and fun times when we travel. There are also many memories to be made! Working 5 days a week can be very stressful and sometimes all you are looking for is that one crucial long weekend to plan your trip and get away from it all! Grab a few friends, plan in advance, and bon voyage!
A couple of years ago, I was blessed to be able to get out of the country. My brother had a short gig abroad and he asked me to come along! So together we went to the British Embassy, got our passports in order, booked our flight, and away we went towards the United Kingdom in Jolly Old London!
