Illness Forced Adele to Cancel Sold-Out Concert
British singer superstar icon Adele has taken to twitter the bad news of having to cancel the last 2 remaining concerts at the Wembley Stadium.

The hit maker had to pull the plug on her concert tour upon seeking medical advice concerning a vocal problem that the singer has struggled with for a while now. It turns out the Grammy-Award winner had damaged her vocal cords and was given directions to rest her voice. Not the first time for Adele as she had experienced problems with her vocal cords in the past and was forced to scrap a number of shows back in 2011 following a vocal cord hemorrhage that left her needing surgery.
Not All Fans Are Happy
While many fans sympathized and show genuine concern for the singer’s health, many others were left with travel and hotel accommodation expenses that will be wasted after the concert was cancelled. Many of these fans posted on twitter about their disappointments. Some even believed that showing up and lip syncing will be a lot better than just dissing the concert altogether.

Despite the fiasco, solid supporters of the diva took matters into their own hands and arranged a sing-song in her honor. Using the hashtag #SingForAdele, Daydreamers gathered fans to meet up outside of what should have been the concert venue to render their own renditions to the superstars’ tracks. As of this writing, there are still no news as to whether the singer will once again have surgery.

Adele had also decided to take a break from touring and cancel any pending shows for the remainder of the year. The singer was noted saying that she will in the meantime take a break and enjoy family time with her mother and 4-year-old son.
Get well soon Adele and till next time.
