The first Bad Moms movie introduced us to these three funny moms. American Suburbian moms usually have the same type and issues. These mommies usually go through life as a daily struggle. Moms like these have to worry about cooking food, dressing up the kids, and doing the laundry. There are school PTA meetings, grocery lists, and even responsibilities with the husband! But these Bad Moms are ready to lash out! Check out the synopsis below about what will happen in this second edition of Bad Moms!
“A Bad Moms Christmas follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And as if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they must do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.”

“She was born Milena Markovna Kunis to a Jewish family in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, USSR (now independent Ukraine). Her mother, Elvira, is a physics teacher, her father, Mark Kunis, is a mechanical engineer, and she has an older brother named Michael. Her family moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1991.
After attending one semester of college between gigs, she realized that she wanted to act for the rest of her life. She started acting when she was nine years old, when her father heard about an acting class on the radio and decided to enroll Mila in it. There, she met her future agent. Her first gig was when she played a character named Melinda in Make a Wish, Molly (1995). From there, her career skyrocketed into big-budget films.
Although she is mostly known for playing Jackie Burkhart on That ’70s Show (1998), she has shown the world that she can do so much more. Since 1999, she provided the voice of self-conscious daughter Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy (1998). Her breakthrough film was Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), in which she played a free-spirited character named Rachel Jansen.
Mila is married to actor Ashton Kutcher, with whom she has two children.”

In 2004, Bell appeared in the Lifetime’s television film, Gracie’s Choice, which received high ratings. In the film, the character that Mila Kunis plays has a son, the son says “we’re not even Russian”. Kunis is, in fact, from the Ukraine.
Mila Kunis was born in the Ukraine. This Russian joke and reference is a direct allusion to her lineage and birthplace in the Eastern part of Asia.
Kathryn Hahn wrote a personal letter to Susan Sarandon, asking her to play her mother in the film.
How else can you get Susan Sarandon to play your mom? She is a massive acting legend. Kathryn Hann did a very sociable and formal effort, and it paid off!
The film was announced on December 23, 2016, just two months after Bad Moms (2016) finished its theatrical run in the United States. Only 15 months separate the release dates of the original film and its sequel.
No rest for Bad Moms! They had continuous shoots and filming dates so that they could have the best time to accomplish almost two movies in a span of two years!
Kristen Bell Connects with the Film
Independent released an interview with Kristen Bell. Here she tells all about her experiences as a mom.
“This story is an incredibly relatable thing, to feel like an overworked mum – and even if you’re not an overworked mum, then you probably had an overworked mum. And to discuss the idea that mums are allowed to be more than one thing, feels taboo and crazy and provocative and funny,” says the actress, recalling how her reaction to the original script was one of shock rather than laughter.
“I couldn’t believe that a movie like this hadn’t been written before because it was just screaming to be told. At that point I had two little kids and was experiencing all that pressure. Everything about being a mum is stupid and funny and you always smell like urine. And there’s nothing funny about perfection, but there’s a ton of comedy in imperfection, and that’s what being a mum is – dealing with your imperfection. We can all relate.”
Bell, 37, herself has become one of the more relatable women in Hollywood. We all know that she played a Disney Princess in Frozen. But she never acts like a princess. She is as real as they can get. Kristen Bell talks real talk, acts like a real person in the real world. That is why many people love her! She even sang songs from Frozen for groups of people in shelters during the recent hurricane surge!
