A wedding may be the most important event in your life. It is when your life changes and you start a wonderful future with your special someone. You want it to be beautiful, memorable, and perfect. But like all things, this has a cost! We’ve got some ideas on how much a wedding costs these days and some tips on how to make it work.
- VENUE
- Often the first question asked is “where will your wedding be at?”, and the answer is also often the most spent on. Wedding venues differ and range in cost as much as they do in style. Remember that better does not always mean more expensive. Venues range from P60,000 to a whopping P800,000, some go for over a clear million. Figure out the style and theme you want and look for the best options, there are a lot to choose from.
- FOOD
- The number of people you are inviting directly affects your budget. Caterers range from P500 to P1200 per pax. That includes tables, chairs, design, and the little flowers in bottles on your table. So try and trim your guestlist to the best possible number and find the caterer that fits the bill.
- PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY
- Can you imagine that some of the best wedding photographers and videographers in the country charge almost P120K per event? And that’s just either for video or photo! The wedding industry has turned into a huge market for photographers and videographers. So if you want that Same-Day-Edit (SDE) done right, prepare to spend at least P40,00 to P100,000 for your photo and video needs.
