Hey there, pet lovers! I am sure you have experienced getting stopped at mall entrances or places because your pet is with you. It sucks, right? As much as possible, I bring my dogs wherever I go because I just love them so much. At the same time, they get the exercise, socialization and exposure to the different kinds of pet friendly environments that can incredibly help them build their confidence.
I bring them to the mall, to the gym, to work every Fridays and to my vacations out of town and they love it! I know it may sound much of like a hassle but spending time out is not as rewarding if they are not with me.
Let me share with you the places that we have gone to and where my boys actually enjoyed and had a good time.
Bonifacio High Street

My dogs love it here! If you have not been to Bonifacio High Street, then get out of the house and treat your pets to a nice stroll around this beautiful area. There are parks and benches where you and your dog can chill and play around. Also, the restaurants around Bonifacio High Street offer outside seats that allow pet owners to enjoy a hearty meal with their furry friends.
We usually drive up to Bonifacio High Street on the weekends when we want to soak up on some sunlight after being indoors for such a long time. There are lot of pet events that are being held at Bonifacio High Street so make sure to join! Your pets will definitely love being around other pets, too!
Legazpi Active Park
If you live around or near Makati, this is a great destination for a walk with your pet. It is just right behind the Greenbelt area so it’s not really hard to find. Just like Bonifacio High Street, this is where you can meet other people who are walking their dogs and has a spacious area for your dogs to play fetch. There are also dog-friendly restaurants that allow dogs or that offer outside seats. Who would not love a meaty and saucy burger with your dog, right?
Also, make sure to pass by the Salcedo Sunday Market! From organic produce, specialty burgers and natural body and facial oils, this is where the good stuff is. I am sure everyone would love to give your pet scratches along the way!
Ayala Triangle Park
Famous for the Ayala Triangle Christmas ‘Festival of Lights’ every December that people always look forward to, it is also a great place to take your dogs on a Sunday morning! It is a triangular park located at the corner of Makati Avenue and Paseo de Roxas. You can go for a jog or enjoy a lemonade with your best friend!
Eastwood City Walk
This is a pet-friendly shopping center that welcomes pets inside! They were awarded a Golden Paw Award by PAWS in 2005. I recommend this place because they actually appreciate seeing pets around the area. They even say hi and call your dog by name!
Eastwood Mall
Eastwood Mall is a newer mall that is just across the street from Eastwood City Walk. You can get a Pet Pass at the concierge that allows you and your pets to walk around the mall. The plaza is a nice place to take your dog because there are lots of dog owners walking their dogs too! It would be a great avenue to socialize with other dogs and pet owners, as well. You can go up and down the mall’s levels by using the escalator or the elevator if you have big dogs, like me.
Evia Lifestyle Mall
For pet lovers in the South, this is a great place to take your dogs! We have celebrated my dogs’ birthdays here every year since it was opened to the public in 2016. Though they do not have grassy areas to play on, they have nice pavements and seats. The restaurants around the mall also offer outside seating which allows you to eat with your dogs. I appreciate the ambience greatly as the staff is very accommodating to my dogs. We are regulars there that their staff calls my dogs by name! I definitely recommend this place to my fellow pet owners! They also have a pet store where you can get supplies and goodies for your doggies!
Give all the love to that furry friend of yours, like how Tom Hardy loves his, and visit these places with your furry friend and maybe my dogs and I can bump into you some time!
