The Stranger Things Season 2 Poster Is Out!
If you haven’t seen the first season of Stranger Things, then we suggest that you click on the new tab button and subscribe to Netflix! The show was a fresh new take on the mystery and horror genre. It pits a group of boys against an interdimensional monster and a government conspiracy rolled into a masterfully done 80’s genre.
The show is witty, brave, dark at times, and utterly suspenseful. The mystery behind the creature and the disappearance of Will Byers created a platform of mystery later on exploded into epic proportions. And since it was very well received by the public, Stranger Things is back with a second season and a cool poster!
Things get stranger
Honestly, I barely finished the first season of Stranger Things. You know why? It totally freaked me out! The first episode brought enough chills down my spine that I found myself with eyes closed in some of the scenes!
Remember that one scene where the cop was investigating the shed for the first time? And the light bulb flickered on and off as he was peering through the dark hole? Creepy! And on throughout the series the whole business with the mysterious monster and the Upside Down was enough to give me a few sleepless nights. But that wasn’t enough! Now things get stranger!
In the second season movie poster, we see our young group of would-be ghostbusters peering into a fiery red storm over their town of Hawkins. Noticeably absent is Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven. She was one of the characters that truly pulled me in as she combined childlike innocence with sheer mental power.
She was like Jean Grey from the X-Men! We also now that the Upside Down exists and that there are dark and evil forces lurking within. And you can be sure that there are more dangerous and cruel creatures just ready to pounce out and take our world by storm.
I love how Stranger Things brought a suspenseful sci-fi thriller wrapped around an 80’s genre with kids at the forefront. It’s a fresh take from the normal cops and soldiers versus aliens and also monsters scene that we normally watch. The play between these childhood friends, their imagination, and their innocence at approaching these otherworldly dangers are both relatable and entertaining.
