Single Moms are Super Heroes and not “Na Ano Lang”
Recently, Sen.Tito Sotto (Filipino Politician) made an insulting remark against single mothers around the world. During his cross examination of Sec. Judy Taguiwalo, Sotto remarked that all single mothers were “Na Ano Lang”.
Maybe it is a foreign idea to the senator that non-traditional families are very common in the country and the world. Being a single parent is a very difficult job and it takes guts and willpower to raise a child on you own. Here is a list of super powers that prove that single moms are not “Na Ano Lang”.
1. They Have an Unlimited Supply of Love
The decision to raise a child is not an easy one for two parents, let alone a single mother. There is no denying the fact that mothers have a special bond with their children that father’s won’t ever get to experience. Most people will say that this love and bond begins when the baby is conceived in the womb, but honestly it starts far earlier than that.
When a mother decides to have a baby they are willingly sacrificing their health and body in order to bring that child into the world. This sacrifice among many others show the dedication and love they have for their children. Men will never know and experience the pain that women have to endure during child birth and should be thankful that women have the strength to bring life into the world.
