My #HappyHourGoals for every night
Why does #HappyHourGoals happen on the verge of happy breakup between Fri-YAY and weekend? We are humans who needs to reboot once in a while, not machines who can work and process large amounts of data. As is our mantra, #LiveLifeShareMoments, here’s our simple guide on how you can spend #HappyHourGoals, between work or afte-work style.
What’s your #HappyHourGoals? We list down the guide to beat boredom
1. Food and Drink Binge
Quickie: 15-minutes
When I was still working in Eastwood and feeling a little under the weather, I would slip off from my desk and grab a beer in a place where I know my officemates won’t find me. Imagine those people taking a 15-minute yosi break¸ I would take a beer break. I always keep a pen and notebook with me to write down my random thoughts, which comforts and energizes me. I just make sure to drink only a bottle. One is enough. Two is too much.
After-work: Sky is the limit
Bid your working PC and your desktop chair goodbye, and say hello to your friend who is eager to chug down bottles of beer, paired with generous serving of pulutan. Dig in for food and drink binge! In this case, #HappyHourGoals is extended until one of your bud call it a night.
2. Travel
#IAmAnEventurer who makes it a point to travel to different local destinations in a year. I would always carry my weekend bag pack to the office on a Friday morning. Come evening, I’m off to meet my adventure. Never mind if I am still wearing office clothes. Travelling is a relief for me because it gives my monotonous cycle an ice breaker. I get to show how prepared I am for adventure. #LiveLifeShareMoments. What about you?
3. Home with the Family
Home with your homies is where you can truly be at ease with yourself. After a long day at work, there’s nothing more comforting than coming home to your family, dinner prepared at the table, and your bed calling for your name. Home with the family is where you can rest easy. Let’s admit that not all of us are fans of squeezing ourselves in crowded places. Why spend so much time and money on #HappyHourGoals bar promos where you can enjoy a freshly-cooked meal at the comfort of your own home, without paying a dime?
4. Shopping
Quickie: 30-minutes
This is an example of #HappyHourGoals you can achieve even before you’ve signed off at the office, if only your office is near a mall. When I was still working in Eastwood, I would frequent the Eastwood Mall and do a little bit of window-shopping. Retail therapy doesn’t mean you have to break your own wallet, just your monotonous work cycle. Walk with stride, see new collections, and who knows, you will feel refreshed and inspired to work again when you come back to your workstation.
